Practice Coordinator

Front Office Team Member / Treatment Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced dental professional to join our motivated and ambitious team. We are currently seeking a Dental Office Front Office Team Member / Treatment Coordinator who is ready to take their career to the next level by joining our dedicated team of professionals. You will be expected to quickly adapt to your role and all responsibilities outlined below so you can immediately implement strategies and processes to elevate the patient experience as well as the overall operations of the dental office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Represent the company’s vision and mission by encouraging the pursuit of excellence everyday
  • Support the daily clinical and non-clinical operations of the office by enforcing office policies and protocols and overseeing the delivery of quality dental care
  • Work Accounts Receivable to a healthy status
  • Present treatment and communicate financial policy along with payment options to patients
  • Process insurance claims
  • Monitor patient satisfaction in office and via satisfaction surveys; Act with urgency to resolve any quality control issues in accordance with the patients’ needs, company policies, and regulated standards, offering feedback to the team as necessary
  • Proactively educate patients on the importance of their oral health and recommended treatment to increase awareness and case acceptance rates
  • Streamline operational procedures and implement solutions to increase office productivity and ensure optimal efficiency
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality within the office
  • Maintain all hygiene and safety regulations as mandated by OSHA
  • Participate and lead meetings, trainings, and huddles with staff
  • Audit schedules for errors and/or inconsistencies and follow-up with team to course correct as needed
  • Manage the blocking/unblocking of the schedule to reflect scheduling needs and to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Manage unscheduled treatment reports and ensure patients are followed up with timely
  • Create challenges to encourage and motivate the team to ensure production goals are met daily
  • Maintain the appearance and functionality of the office; Follow-up on the resolution of any item(s) that need troubleshooting or repair
  • Monitor supply inventory and ordering as needed; Ensure all items remain organized and properly stored
  • Collaborate with HR on staffing within the office; communicate all staff tardiness, absenteeism, and coverage with HR
  • Oversee day-to-day employee relations, performance, and productivity; Ensure appropriate resources, support, and training materials are created and/or made available as needed
  • Conduct periodic meetings to reconnect with staff and complete annual performance evaluations
  • Discipline insubordinate staff and follow protocol to submit appropriate documentation
  • Provide coverage in any position within the office as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience within a dental office is required
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, dental office procedures, and Practice Management Software programs (Open Dental Experience a Plus!)
  • Flexibility to work between the hours of 8am-6pm as needed
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday

Job Skills

  • Customer / Patient service and care are paramount in this special (mainly) fee-for-service practice
  • Deep knowledge and extensive experience with insurance claims processing.
  • Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work under pressure, and be proactive in the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Ability to solve problems, provide immediate solutions, and make sound decisions independently
  • Strong desire to maximize opportunities and exceed goals
  • High degree of professionalism when building relationships with patients and team members
  • Strong attention-to-detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to give and receive constructive criticism in a positive manner

Dental Hygienist

Front Office Team Member / Treatment Coordinator

We are currently looking for a bright, motivated, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to help us become a leading periodontal, health-focused practice. Our practice is growing and we are seeking a positive and talented RDH for our dental practice. We have a 4-5 day a week position available for the right candidate to start right away.

The perfect candidate will be an energetic team player who has an "all-in" attitude and commitment to the health of our patients! The right person must be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and share in our philosophy centered around lifetime care and overall health. Our team is committed to building a positive work culture and the right candidate for this position must add to it!

We do not rush our appointments and delivering excellent patient care and building patient relationships are paramount in our treatment. We expect our hygienists to educate our patients to understand and embrace comprehensive dental care. A Positive Attitude with Patients, Team Members, and Doctors is ESSENTIAL. Excellent communication skills is a must.
